Established in 2002, MF Designs was founded by Martin Farrer, a fully qualified and registered architect, who trained and graduated at the University of Portsmouth. Having grown up and lived in and around Emsworth, Martin is passionate about the local area with both its traditional and evolving landscape and has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of local architecture and heritage.

As a sole practitioner, Martin provides a direct personal approach and relationship with each individual client and project. Specialising in extensions, renovations and refurbishments of private dwellings, in particular Listed Buildings and Conservation projects, the practice has established a reputation and skill base in this sector providing high quality design for private individuals to transform their ‘Houses into Homes’.

Martin values high quality in both design and client service as part of the creation of buildings and spaces. This involves listening and understanding of the client’s requirements and interpreting these into unique and crafted designs. Each project is enthusiastically approached and designed with an architectural style dependant on individual needs, ranging from established design styles to contemporary installations.
